ok so i’m looking to upgrade my phone. UNICEL is my service provider but AT and T is taking over in my area, the change over will happen in the next 6 months..I currently have a Motorola RAZR V3, which is a pretty nice phone but doesnt hold up to the newest, no qwerty keyboard, ect. So, I’m shopping around for an unlocked GSM quadband phone. That way it will work with UNICEL for now, and I want one that will support all the feaure AT and T has down the road when we change over. I’ve been looking at the Pantech DUo and Pantech Matrix. I love the dual-slider design. I also want a phone that has internet capabilities and is good for messaging, but it doenst need to be too fancy, like I’m not going to be using it for business use or anything like that. All the cell phone review sites i’ve looked at give have mixed user reviews so I’m just gonfused. First of all, what (if any) are the main/big differenece between the DUO and the MATRIX? , as far as features, camera, music player, ect. Also, if anyone has used either phone I’d really appreciate any feedback, and please be honest. haha. And finally, are there any places besides EBAY or Amazon that i can buy an UNLOCKED one?
I have the Pantech Duo and I like it. The Matrix is basically a newer version of the Duo, except it isn’t a smart phone.
